Plan – simple word that brings life back on track

Most of us, at some point in life must have wished for few extra hours a day. No matter what role you play in your life, or what goals or dreams you have, you always have more in your plate than you can handle. Isn’t it? How a planner can give you a sense of control

Leave no loose ends

Everything can not be accomplished at once so it is important to set boundaries. We all have limited resources to spend, whether it’s hours in our clock or headspace in our mind. Your planner is a place where you can set time limits to every job in hand (big or small) and not let your work spill into your personal life.

Stay mindful

“Don’t bite more than you can chew”. We all have aspirations and we all want to be achievers in some or other way. Whether it’s setting up a new business account, or have certain million views on social media, or a weight loss goal!! Many a times we raise bar too high for ourself that it breaks our self confidence if we fail to achieve. Planners keeps us realistic. When we plan our journey to reach our goal we also note down obstacles, our weakness our strength and also other jobs in hand too. It helps us to see clear picture and be mindful of what we can and what we can not do.

De-stress

You stop remembering the moment you write it down. And when you write it down you let go your mind off it. Human brain has limited capacity, and forcing it to remember everything can be overwhelming. So let your planner take some load off your mind. And when your mind is free your body is relaxed automatically. Also, by planning your day or week in advance can enable you fit in few ‘me time‘ hours to relax and rejuvenate.

Stay motivated

Have a goal in mind? Just note it down, break it into smaller pieces and add the sub-goals onto your daily planner. That is how you can see it daily, you can work on it daily and you are able to move closer towards your goal. That too, everyday. Isn’t it what people call motivation? 🙂

Proactive coping

Nothing worth having comes easy“. True that. You can’t immune yourselves to obstacles or even failures, but what you can do is to anticipate in advance and prepare for it. Planning for things rather letting them happen shall help you minimise stress and have better control over events.
